Executive Order 9066

Executive Order 9066 was signed by President Franklin D. Roosevelt on February 19, 1942.  The order led to the incarceration of 120,000 Japanese Americans during World War II.

To mark the 75th anniversary, Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library is presenting a special exhibit of photography from the internment camps until December 31, 2017.  Visit here for more information: https://www.fdrlibrary.org/images-of-internment
