Franklin D. Roosevelt was the only American President elected and inaugurated four times. Below is a gallery of historical inauguration materials housed at the FDR Presidential Library & Museum.

Eyeglasses worn by FDR during first inauguration FDR wore these distinctive pince-nez spectacles on Inauguration Day in 1933. A small plaque was later affixed to the case for the spectacles to indicate they were used on March 4, 1933. FDR Library Museum Collection, LHM 2010.5a-c

Roosevelt used this 1686 Dutch family Bible to take the oath of office for all four of his terms as President of the United States. Earlier, he had used it when he was sworn in as Governor of New York in 1929 and 1931. FDR Library Museum Collection, MO 1942.99.3
