Information for Booking a School Group Tour
Each year hundreds of teachers bring more that 17,000 students to Hyde Park to partake in one of the Library's free Education Programs. Each program, presented by a New York State certified teacher or the Library's Education Specialist, is both document and curriculum based, and is designed to meet the needs of students and teachers alike.
The Roosevelt Library's Henry A. Wallace Visitor and Education Center serves as a joint visitor and education center for those who come to the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum and the Home of FDR National Historic Site. The Presidential Library and the National Park Service offer joint educational programs free of charge.
The center's facilities include three classrooms for interactive and hands-on activities. The Wallace Center contains orientation exhibits, an introductory film, Museum Store and ample restroom facilities.
